What is the duration of the residential courses?
We have a curriculum set for one month and two months courses. However, we are open to understanding your requirement and see if we can customize it for you.

Accommodation and Facilities

What type of accommodation is provided? Wi-fi?
There is a 1BHK unit available on sharing basis for two people. There is no WiFi service because the phone data works really well for all service providers. Should you choose to stay elsewhere we can connect you to nearby local homestays.

Are meals included?
Yes. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is provided. One is always welcome to use the kitchen to make meals for everyone if they enjoy cooking.

Do I need any prior experience in pottery to join?
We have a course designed specifically to cater to beginners. People who are truly interested in learning a new form of art can participate.
Location and Travel

Where is your studio located?
The studio stands at the foothill of the Dauladhar Range on Andretta Village Road, Palampur, Himachal Pradesh.

How do I get to the studio? Pickup and drop-off facilities from airport, railway station, bus stand?
There are taxis available at the airport and bus stops that one can catch. We can also connect you with local taxis if required.

What should I bring with me?
Please check the weather predictions or check with us before your travel to get a good idea of what to carry.

What health and safety measures are in place?
The nearest hospital is just 20 mins drive from the studio. We also have a couple of small clinics in the area for small emergencies.

Yes.

Can I stay longer than the course duration?
Yes. You can stay longer after your course completion depending on availability and your purpose for extension.

Are there any local attractions or activities nearby?
It is a beautiful quiet place which is made more memorable by the walks to temples, through the fields and beautiful waterfalls where we go to refresh ourselves. Places like Norah Richard’s Center, Shoba Singh Art Gallery are all at a walking distance. Bir is 45 mins drive and Dharamshala about 1 hour 30 mins.
